Grandpa's Farm is a first-generation small farm just outside of Bainbridge, GA using organic and some regenerative practices. We specialize in the holistic production of a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Our mission is to sustainably produce the highest quality produce at an affordable price for our local community.
Practices
All of our produce is started from F1 seeds in the greenhouse, and once matured, are planted in one of our various small plots with raised beds for growth and harvest. We utilize in-ground irrigation to minimalize water waste along with drop irrigation techniques, and sanitize then re-use/recycle as much equipment as possible. We prefer our plants grow without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. We occasionally use an organic pesticide containing peppermint oil, thyme oil, and other holistic ingredients.
