Hey Y’all! We are the Hodges Family, and we come from a long line of farmers. Candice’s family and Steven’s family had property that connected, and their grandparents fought over hogs and cows getting out, resulting in a family feud. Fortunately, this story is better than Romeo and Juliet. Candice and Steven fell in love and ran off to get married. Now, 32 years later, they are working the combined family farms as well as leasing a beautiful greenhouse to offer these healthy greens to you. Each of our three grown children plays a part in the business, from seeding plants to working farmers' markets. The old feud is now behind us, and our family loves to share the eco-friendly products we are blessed to grow. We use organic pesticides and herbicides to offer you the truly healthiest options. From the greenhouse lettuces to our seasonal items, we love offering clean food to our customer friends.
Practices
For the items we would currently like to offer from the greenhouse, we are using the same practices as Tonya and Walter (leasing the space from Martin's Harvest). We use organic herbicides and pesticides, which can be seen on the farm.
