About Us
R&R Farmary began as an urban garden of raised beds in the 32304 zip code of west Tallahassee (Mission Hills), and has recently expanded to include two acres in Monticello, Florida, where a market farm and fruit orchard are in development.
We grow food naturally and regeneratively, based on sustainable and ecological principles. When we grow food based on such principles, that food will be more sustainably sourced, more nutritionally dense, and it will taste better. And when we farm the land in a way that honors it, and the life it both holds and supports now and in the future, we will leave the world a better place for those that follow, human and non-human alike.
We also know that regenerative agriculture is an economically viable and scalable farm model. That is why we advocate for regenerative farming at all levels, and we hope you will support us in this endeavor by sourcing your food from local producers.

Practices
At R & R Farmary we practice sustainable, ecosystem farming, and make decisions based on ecological principles, such as those popularized by Barry Commoner in The Closing Circle, such as nature knows best, everything goes somewhere, and there is no such thing as waste. We avoid inorganic herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers.
To control weeds and pests, and to nourish the plants that nourish us, we practice proven, sustainable, and ecologically responsible methods of food stewardship. These methods include integrated pest management, crop rotation, cover cropping, interplanting, trap planting, composting, organic mulching, soil building, and other ecosystem farming and permaculture practices.
To limit unsustainable inputs, and because there is no such thing as waste, we reduce, reuse, and recycle whenever possible. We compost all of our kitchen scraps other than meat, grain, and dairy. We keep and utilize our yard debris onsite, rather than placing it on the curb.
We invite you to follow our blog at randrstewardshipsllc.com to learn more about these methods and principles.
