Collins Family Farm is on 47 acres in Cherry Lake, Florida in the northernmost part of Madison county. Half the farm is in pasture, with the other half in native woodlands. We have less than half an acre where we grow, but are in the process of prepping another 2 plus acres through intensive cover cropping and will "grow" from there. We will be offering salad greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, peas, beans, squash, flowers, herbs, eggplant, hot peppers...etc. We are adventurous eaters, so we love to experiment with growing new and unusual things. You never know what we may have to offer!
Our growing style is dedicated to improving the health of the soil and follows organic principles. Our main method of pest control is still "pick and squish". :-)
